First of all, congratulations on your achievements. I am sure you've been an excellent student.
I am also a student at a language school at Otago Polytechnic. I've improved my grammar skills a lot as you did. You sound like you will miss your friends. I understand you because I have the same feeling here. However, I hope you achieve the next goal - being a university student in the future.
